SimpleThree was created by nationally renowned, clinically registered Child and Family Therapist, Ward V. Halverson, LCSW-R, M. Ed. Prior to becoming a therapist, Halverson worked as a public school teacher, inner city residential treatment center clinician and social worker. While serving in Afghanistan as an Army medical officer and the Director of Mental Health in Afghanistan, Halverson created an accountability-driven, behavioral modification system designed to more humanely and effectively, manage Taliban and Afghan detainees. His system was so successful, it was later cited by President George W. Bush for its effectiveness and remains in place to this day. After returning home from Afghanistan, Halverson continued his mission to help children and families and went into private practice as a Child and Family Therapist. His practice specializes in teaching parents how to end childhood defiance through one fully integrated, simple approach: SimpleThree.
